FACES OP HET GESPREK

Donderdag 18 maart.

WHAT THE PRESS IS SAYING

Never Leave the House Naked And 50 other Ridiculous Fashion Rules

"It makes a great little gift for any fashionista or perhaps those who need to learn the first rule: "Never leave the house naked."
Mocoloco

"The book is neatly designed. Small format, great graphics and plenty of illustrations commissioned to talented young graphic designers. The quotes either sharply confirm the rule or contradict them with wit and conviction leading you to believe that there is no rule. What remains, however, is the pleasure to discuss, question or embrace these rules."
we make money not art

"Part 3 of van Gaalen’s Ridiculous design Rules series, the book scrutinizes some of the established fundamentals of fashion, supported by quotations from some of fashion’s leading figures."
Dezeen

The Medium is the Message and 50 other Ridiculous Advertising Rules

"A light-hearted look at more rules to break, play with or embrace, this time in the world of advertising, this little black book is another compilation of great quotes and graphics. Make no mistake: this is not a definitive list of rules to abide by, but a fun package of thoughts wrapped up in a black package with a blue ribbon."
Mocoloco

"The book light-heartedly pokes fun at statements that, either for good or bad, have become clichéd principles of advertising."
Dezeen

"Author Anneloes van Gaalen has written 3 books, each well designed itself, and a great way to have al augh and take ease of how seriously we take all this stuff."
